Presentations
Debbie Hutchinson (Team Chief Scientist, WHFC) visited Lafayette, LA, on February 15-16 to give two talks. One was to the Geological Society of Lafayette on Geological Aspects of Marine Gas Hydrates. The other was to the USGS National Wetlands Research Center (NWRC) on Three Case Studies of the Coastal and Marine Geology Woods Hole Program: Environmental Studies in Boston Harbor, Habitat Mapping on Georges Bank, and Erosion Studies off Southern Long Island. She spent the better part of a day visiting with staff at the NWRC. Uri ten Brink (WHFC) gave a talk entitled "Styles of Continental Rupture: Examples from Los Angeles and Baikal" during the Woods Hole Oceanographic W.M. Keck Geodynamics Seminar on February 10.
