BRD Researchers Join St. Petersburg Field Center
The St. Pete Field Center welcomes new BRD arrivals Dr. Carol McIvor and her research assistant, Shannon Whaley, who joined the SPFC on February 23rd. Presently, they are moving into offices and their phones are being set up. Carol is an excellent addition to the Center, because her research is focused on estuarine and reef fish. She has been in BRD in the Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Units at the University of Arizona and later at the University of Florida/Florida International University, where she was an Associate Professor. It is clear that her research will dovetail nicely with many of the Center's on-going projects.
